Year 4 - Mrs Kerr's class

Carding Mill Valley
Class 3 visited Carding Mill Valley in the Summer Term to become 'real-life' geographers and explore the landscape for our topic on "Raging Rivers and Mighty Mountains".
We examined the river's depth, width and flow, as well as climbing the Long Mynd and identifying the key physical features of the mountain, shaped during the Ice Age!

This half term we have been exploring superheroes; both fictional and real.  We have created our own superhero identities and written our own stories.  We explored the heroic stories from the Pride of Britain Awards and the real life heroes of World War One.  We shared our learning in our class assembly, commemorating the 100 year centenary of the end of World War One.  We ended the half term with our own Superhero day.
